Family Law/Divorce & Custody

Business Law

LLC’s, Partnerships, Corporation, Formation of Business Entities, Dissolution of Business Entities, Preparation, review and dissolution of Contracts, preparation and review of leases.

Collaborative Law

This is a new way to resolve disputes by removing the disputed matter from the litigious courtroom setting and treat the process as a way to identify issues/concerns in a respectful manner and to assist the parties to reach an amicable resolution. As part of the collaborative law method, both parties retain separate attorneys to assist in resolving the process. No one may go to Court. If one or both parties terminate the Collaborative Method, both attorneys are disqualified from any further involvement in the case.

In Family Law, this is a legal process enabling couples who have decided to separate or end their marriage to work with their lawyers and, on occasion, other family professionals (mental health coach, financial coach/experts) in order to avoid the uncertain outcome of court and to achieve a settlement that best meets the specific needs of both parties and their children.

Mediation

Peacemaker. Helping individuals and business organizations effectively solve problems/disputes between 2 or more individuals to reach a resolution or settlement without litigation. Disputants may mediate in a variety of domains, such as commercial, legal, workplace, community and family matters. Participation is voluntary and the process is private and confidential.

Litigation

In addition to handling commercial litigation in the state courts, our litigation experience intersects many areas of our practice including probate litigation, real estate and divorce. With experience in mediation and collaborative law (alternative dispute resolution), our goal is an amicable and efficient resolution whenever possible, taking legal action whenever it is the best course to serve our clients’ interests.

Estate Planning, Wills & Trusts

Rather than complicate matters, our office delivers straightforward estate plans that are no more complex than they need to be to meet your present needs and future goals. We also engage in cost-effective probate administration and trust administration to distribute the estate as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Our office may assist you in evaluating your estate plan; we often work side by side with asset managers and financial planners to accomplish your goal. Your Estate Planning Package may include a revocable living trust, a pour-over will, a durable power of attorney for assets and an advanced healthcare directive. See our Estate Planning Questionnaire to get started.
